Mumbai: In his first official act after taking the oath as Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis signed a file approving financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund here, on Thursday.
Before presiding over the inaugural cabinet meeting, CM Fadnavis approved a financial aid of ₹5 lakh for Chandrakant Shankar Kurhade, a resident of Pune, for medical treatment.
The assistance was sanctioned following a request from Kurhade’s wife, who sought support from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for a bone marrow transplant procedure.
