In a swift operation, Sadar Police arrested a woman accused of stealing a gold bangle worth Rs. 2.80 lakh from the Tanishq showroom in Sadar on the evening of November 26.
The accused, who reportedly suffers from mental health issues, posed as a customer and entered the showroom around 5:30 p.m. She asked a salesgirl to show her various jewelry pieces and spent nearly half an hour examining the collection.
