Global Indian International School (GIIS), Nagpur, joined hands with HDFC and Jeevan Jyoti Blood Bank to host a blood donation camp on its campus, witnessing enthusiastic participation from the local community, parents and staff. This initiative highlighted the school’s dedication to community welfare and social responsibility.
The camp was inaugurated by GIIS Nagpur Principal, Ms. Nidhi Gupta, alongside representatives from HDFC and Jeevan Jyoti Blood Bank. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Gupta said, “It is a privilege to collaborate with such esteemed organizations for this noble cause. The response from our school community has been truly inspiring, and we hope our collective efforts will make a meaningful difference.”
With over 20 donors stepping forward, the event was marked by a spirit of compassion and generosity. Each participant underwent a thorough medical check-up before donating blood to ensure safety and well-being. The blood collected during the camp will be utilized to address medical emergencies and save lives.
