Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis may not be reaching his home town Nagpur on December 13. Earlier the date of his arrival was announced as December 12 and changed later to December 13. Now the date is again deferred to December 15.
Fadnavis, who became the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the third time is busy negotiating the portfolios with the Mahayuti alliance partners.
Even after the historical victory in the Assembly elections on November 23, the oath-taking ceremony was delayed. Only the Chief Minister and two Deputy Chief Ministers were inducted. The discussion on key portfolios in the new government is in progress. Besides the Bharatiya Janata Party, the people of Nagpur are eager to welcome their beloved Fadnavis on his arrival.
The ministry is likely to be expanded on December 14. Fadnavis will reach Nagpur only on December 15, a day before the winter session of the State Legislature.
