Highlighting the relevance of ancient scriptures, poet and orator Dr. Kumar Vishwas emphasized that the answers to India’s current challenges lie in the Bhagavad Gita, and the life of Maryada Purushottam Ram serves as the ultimate guide for overcoming everyday struggles. Speaking on the third day of the Sanskrutik Khasdar Mahotsav 2024, Dr. Vishwas urged the youth to embrace the teachings of Ram, which, he said, could steer them away from Marxist ideologies and towards the ‘Ram path.’
The highlight of the evening was the Apne-Apne Ram program, featuring a musical narrative about the life and teachings of Shri Ram. The event was held on the grounds of Ishwar Deshmukh Physical Education College at Krida Chowk, Hanuman Nagar.
Union Minister and Nagpur MP Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The event also included a special musical performance titled Divyarang Divyanganche, featuring specially-abled artists. The program was conceptualized by Zilla Parishad Social Welfare Officer Kishore Bhoyar and Superintendent Praveen Mondhe, among others.
During his address, Dr. Vishwas highlighted Shri Ram’s teachings on sensitivity towards marginalized communities and their importance in fostering a balance of sensibility and intellect. “World consciousness draws its strength from India, and ideological dynamism finds its roots here in Nagpur,” he remarked, underscoring the cultural significance of the region.
