In a bid to raise awareness about energy conservation, the Electrical General Department of Central Railway, Nagpur Division, successfully organized a drawing competition as part of the National Energy Conservation Week. The event, held on 11th December 2024, witnessed enthusiastic participation from local school students, highlighting the importance of environmental consciousness among the youth.
Under the guidance of Ms. Pratibha Gupta, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer (General), the competition engaged students from Railway Jan Mandal High School Ajni, Railwaysmen’s High School Ajni, and WSSC School Ajni. Participants showcased their creativity and understanding of energy conservation through innovative artwork.
The awards ceremony, held on 16th December 2024, was a momentous occasion that brought together several distinguished guests, including Dr. Manjunath, the Chief Medical Superintendent of Nagpur, Ms. Pratibha Gupta, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer (General), and Professor Dr. R.M. Moharil from YCCC College. During this special event, students were presented with shields and certificates, acknowledging their remarkable efforts in promoting energy conservation through artistic expression.
