Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s IEC team organized a program on the theme “Toilet Use – Respectful Habit” at Sulabh Shauchalay, Nehru Nagar Zone, Division 26, Wathoda, on Wednesday. The event focused on raising awareness about hygiene and preventing open urination and defecation.
Students from Jyotiba Madhyamik Vidyalaya participated in a wall-painting activity, using art to emphasize the harmful effects of open defecation on health and the environment. Through their creative expressions, the young participants encouraged citizens to adopt hygienic practices and promote toilet use.
Such initiatives aim to educate children while fostering a culture of cleanliness, highlighting its significance for a healthier society. The campaign is part of NMC’s broader efforts to ensure a cleaner and more sanitary Nagpur.
