Nagpur, December 23: The final day of the Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsava – 2024 ended with a spectacular performance by singer Jubin Nautiyal, sending the city’s youth into a frenzy. The cultural extravaganza, which began on December 13, featured a wide array of musical, spiritual, and cultural programs, culminating in Nautiyal’s much-anticipated performance that drew an enthusiastic crowd.
The event, held at Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education, Krida Square, saw youths queuing up for entry as early as noon. Jubin Nautiyal’s inclusion in the festival lineup after its commencement added a thrilling finale to this year’s edition.
Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, along with Kanchan Gadkari, President of Sanskar Bharati, and Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, Minister of State, inaugurated the final day’s events by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The program was conducted by Balasaheb Kulkarni and Renuka Deshkar.
The concluding day’s festivities opened with a performance by the Gajvakra dholtasha band, followed by an energetic display from Shiv Navyug, India’s first children’s dholtasha and dhwaj pathak.
Expressing his joy over the festival’s success, Nitin Gadkari remarked, “The overwhelming response from audiences during both morning and evening sessions has been incredible. The festival has also achieved two unprecedented world records.”
The Union Minister also felicitated members of the organizing committee, including Prof. Anil Sole, President of the Khasdar Organising Committee, and Dr. Gaurishankar, for their contributions to making the event a grand success.
