Seminar on ‘Marathi Literature and Ideological Magazines’ has been organised by Sahitya Akademi and Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh on December 28 at Amey Hall, Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh, Jhansi Rani Chowk.
The seminar will be inaugurated at 10 am by Marathi writer Vasant Abaji Dahake. The program will be presided over by Pradeep Date, President of Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh, and attended by Narendra Pathak, Member of the Central Executive Board of Sahitya Akademi, Dr. Omprakash Nagar, Officer In Charge of the Regional Office Mumbai, and Praful Shiledar, Editor of Yugvani.
The first session on “Literary Magazines” will begin at 11:45 am, chaired by Pramod Munghate. The session on “Ideological Magazines” will follow at 2:30 pm, chaired by Dr. Rajendra Dolke, with participation from Aruna Sabane and Ravindra Rukmini Pandharinath. The concluding session will be held at 4:15 pm, with Rajan Gavas, a renowned Marathi writer, in attendance. Additionally, an exhibition and sale of Sahitya Akademi publications will take place at the venue on December 28 and 29, from 10:00 am to 06:30 pm.
