The Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Research and Training Institute (Mahajyoti) continues to empower students through quality training, with its latest success story being Maitreyee Avinash Jamdade. A resident of Pune, Maitreyee has secured the top rank among girls in Maharashtra for the prestigious ‘Backward Class Welfare Officer’ (Gazetted) post in the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) exam for 2022-23.
Maitreyee attributed her achievement to Mahajyoti’s comprehensive training programs and financial assistance. The institute, rooted in the ideals of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule, provided her with free coaching at Pune’s H.V. Desai Competitive Training Center and a scholarship that eased her preparation journey.
Scoring 119 marks in the mains and earning the highest interview score of 35 out of 50, Maitreyee’s exceptional performance highlights Mahajyoti’s commitment to nurturing talent from Other Backward Classes (OBC), Denotified Tribes (VJNT), and Special Backward Classes (SBC).
Rajesh Khawale, Managing Director of Mahajyoti, expressed pride in Maitreyee’s success, calling it a reflection of the institute’s dedication to student welfare. “Mahajyoti is committed to supporting deserving candidates with scholarships and top-notch training. Maitreyee’s accomplishment is a proud moment for us,” he said.
Maitreyee expressed her gratitude, saying, “Mahajyoti gave me an incredible opportunity. The guidance and support I received helped me at every step, and I am honored to serve in a department aligned with the vision of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule.”
Minister Atul Save, Chairman of Mahajyoti, also lauded Maitreyee’s achievement. “Her success is proof of Mahajyoti’s excellent training initiatives. More students are now excelling in competitive exams thanks to the institute’s efforts,” he said, extending his congratulations.
Maitreyee is set to join the Backward Class Welfare Department, ready to make a meaningful contribution to society.
