Kishore Rathi has been elected as the District Governor for the Rotary year 2027-28 at the Rotary District 3030 International Conference ‘REJOICE,’ held at Suresh Bhat Auditorium on January 11. A member of the Rotary Club of Nagpur South East, Rathi won against Prerna Bele from Nashik by a wide margin.
During the conference, an election was also held for the Rotary International Director Nominating Committee member. Dr. Anand Jhunjhunwala defeated Rajendra Bhamre to secure the position.
Kishore Rathi, the newly elected District Governor, is a committed Rotarian with years of outstanding service. He has held various leadership roles, including President of the Rotary Club of Nagpur South East. Rathi is admired for his leadership, vision, and notable achievements.
During his acceptance speech, the Governor (Elect) highlighted the importance of building stronger community connections, expanding Rotary’s local and global impact, and promoting innovative service projects. He expressed gratitude to everyone for trusting him to lead District 3030 in 2027-28.
The conference was attended by over 1,600 Rotarians and served as a platform to share ideas, celebrate achievements, and plan future initiatives.
