Nagpur’s Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law is gearing up to host the 22nd Justa Causa National Law Festival from January 17 to 19, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s centenary celebrations. Recognized as a prominent platform for fostering legal advocacy, awareness, and public policy discussions, the festival attracts the brightest legal minds from across India.
Principal Dr. Ravishankar Mor expressed pride in the college’s illustrious 100-year legacy and emphasized the institution’s commitment to elevating Justa Causa to new heights. The three-day festival will feature an array of events, including the National Debate Competition, National Youth Conclave, Youth Parliament, Trial Advocacy, and Moot Court Competition, with participation from 72 colleges nationwide.
The festival’s inaugural ceremony on January 17 will feature Justice Nitin W. Sambre as the Chief Guest, followed by the highly anticipated “Devil’s Attorney” debate addressing critical global issues. Other key highlights include the National Youth Conclave, featuring prominent speakers like senior advocate Shashank Manohar and Padmashree awardee Dr. Vikas Mahatame. Additionally, the Youth Parliament will be held at the Vidhan Parishad Bhawan, with Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narvekar as the chief guest.
Justice Ujjal Bhuyan of the Supreme Court will deliver a keynote lecture on January 19, underscoring the festival’s focus on legal excellence. The event will culminate with the Moot Court finals and a grand valedictory ceremony celebrating the spirit of collaboration and advocacy.
Winners across various competitions will be awarded cash prizes, trophies, and certificates, making this festival a prestigious event in the Indian legal fraternity.
