A shocking incident at Mumbai Airport has gone viral on social media after a video surfaced showing a woman physically assaulting a cab driver. The woman, reportedly frustrated after missing her flight, was seen repeatedly slapping and kicking the driver in anger.

The video, recorded by a bystander in a nearby car, captures the chaotic scene. In the footage, the man can be heard describing the incident in Hindi: “Daud-daud ke maar rhi hai, uchchal-uchchal kar maar rahi hai…dekho kaise maar rhi hai laat-waat.” The woman, allegedly an Ola cab user, chased the driver whenever he tried to avoid her attacks.
The clip, shared on X (formerly Twitter), drew widespread criticism. The user who posted the video stated: “This entitled and empowered woman missed her flight due to her own delay. Instead of accepting her mistake, she vented her frustration on this @Olacabs driver. The life of these cab drivers is always at the mercy of passengers.” The post has amassed over 2,200 likes and nearly 1,000 reposts since being uploaded on January 23.
While many social media users condemned the woman’s actions, some highlighted alleged malpractices by cab drivers, such as taking longer routes or cancelling rides to increase fares.
The Mumbai Traffic Police responded to the viral post, urging the uploader to report the incident to the nearest police station. However, Ola has not yet issued an official statement on the matter.
