The SSC exam plays a crucial role in students’ academic progression, paving the way for higher education. The practical exams were conducted from February 3 to 20. Government, aided, and unaided school classrooms have been made available as exam centers.
To ensure smooth conduct, the Nagpur divisional board has implemented elaborate arrangements. A total of 84 secure ‘custodies’ have been set up to store question papers. The highest number of students—58,495—will appear from Nagpur city and rural areas, while 14,532 candidates will take the exam in Gadchiroli district.
Officials have taken stringent measures to prevent malpractices during the exams. Five flying squads have been deployed in each district, comprising officials from primary education, higher education, state education and training, planning, and deputy education departments. Additionally, revenue department teams, under the supervision of district collectors, will monitor exam centers. The use of mobile phones and other electronic devices has been strictly prohibited at examination venues.
