A “Democracy Day” will be held on March 3, 2025, at the Punjabrao Deshmukh Standing Committee Hall in the Municipal Corporation headquarters. The event aims to address the grievances, difficulties, and issues of the general public. As per the decision of the Maharashtra Government on December 30, 1999, the first Monday of each month is designated as “Democracy Day” to resolve public complaints. During this program, people can submit their complaints in writing, which will then be addressed within the following month.
In accordance with the directives of the Divisional Commissioner, Nagpur Division, complaints received at the Divisional Democracy Day will be resolved at the Municipal Corporation’s Democracy Day. This is a great opportunity for citizens to voice their concerns and seek timely resolutions to their problems.
On Monday, March 3, 2025, the event will begin at 10:00 AM. All department heads and senior municipal commissioners from zones 1 to 10 are expected to attend. The Municipal Commissioner, Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary, has issued these instructions through the General Administration Department to ensure the smooth functioning of the event. Citizens are encouraged to take advantage of this platform to resolve their issues efficiently.
