A young businessman from Yavatmal died while boarding a moving train at Dhamangaon Railway Station on Tuesday night.
Nikhil Dilip Saraf (45), a businessman from Yavatmal, tried to catch the moving Sevagram Express on Tuesday around 11 pm. He slipped while catching the train and came under the train’s wheels. He had confirmed a reservation in A-1 coach. Nikhil died on the spot.
GRPF Police personnel Anita Ingle and Harish Kusram conducted the ‘Panchnama’ and sent the body to the rural hospital for the post-mortem. Later, the body was handed over to Nikhil’s relatives. The last rites were performed at Yavatmal on Wednesday. Badnera police are investigating further.
