Pravin R Pote, President of P R Pote Educational Group, Amravati, has donated ten dialysis machines in memory of his mother and father, Suryakantadevi and Ramchandra Pote. The machines were dedicated to the people in the presence of Amravati’s Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
Out of the ten machines, eight have been installed at Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Hospital and made operational from Thursday. A separate ward has also been created at the hospital.
Pote said that the patients from economically weaker sections will get the services at low charges. Pote had donated Rapid Antigen Kits to the municipal corporation during the COVID-19 pandemic. He had also spent Rs 70 lakhs to erect an Oxygen plant in memory of his father during the same period. Pote has been involved in many social activities, which include the distribution of essential commodities, oxygen devices during the COVID-19 pandemic; donated 40 TV sets, 20 water coolers, 100 ACs, 400 cots, etc to Irvin and Dafrin Hospitals.
