The Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) has issued a call for Expression of Interest (EOI) from prospective parties interested in acquiring franchise ownership rights for the upcoming Vidarbha Pro T20 League (VPTL), which will debut following the conclusion of IPL 2025.
The inaugural edition will feature six men’s teams and three women’s teams, with matches scheduled in morning and evening sessions at the VCA Jamtha Stadium.
The official EOI form is now available on the VCA’s website www.vca.co.in. Interested parties can access the League Deck, EOI Form, and raise queries by writing to vptl@vca.co.in, according to a press release issued by VCA.
The deadline to submit the completed EOI is 5 PM on April 17, 2025. The VCA has stated that it reserves the right to accept or reject any application without providing a reason.
The VPTL Governing Council is chaired by former India pacer Prashant Vaidya, who also heads VCA’s Cricket Development and Administration Committee. Other members of the council include Adv Anand Deshpande, Parimal Vaidya, CA Abhay Upadhye, CS Aniket Deodhar, Adv Amit Choube, Adv Abhishek Mohgaonkar, Shalabh Shrivastava, and Himanshu Joshi.
