A dramatic transformation is on the cards for Ashirwad Nagar, Bidipeth, with a towering G+10 commercial complex soon to rise across a 5966 sq. metre plot. Planned by the Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT), the project will bring in modern infrastructure while aiming to preserve the area’s long-standing market legacy.
The new development will offer a built-up area of over 33,000 sq. metres with two basement levels providing parking for 200 vehicles, including EV charging stations. Designed with mixed-use functionality, the upper floors will feature modular retail and office spaces.
A major focus is on rehabilitating existing shopkeepers and vendors. The ground floor will include 58 shops and 55 ottas, allotted through a lottery system, with monthly compensation of ₹10,000 and ₹5,000 to eligible occupants during the transition phase—capped at 24 months.
The estimated project cost is ₹147.79 crore, and construction is expected to be completed within two years. Complying with UDCPR and TOD guidelines, the complex will include solar energy systems, rainwater harvesting, STP, and smart utilities under IGBC/GRIHA green building norms.
With dedicated site management, cooperative society formation, and real-time monitoring tools, the project aims to balance development with sustainability and accountability.
Ashirwad Nagar’s new skyline is set to rise—blending legacy with modern urban planning in one of Nagpur’s most anticipated redevelopments.
