Nagpur swimmer Shruti Rathi Gandhi has brought laurels to the city by winning two gold medals and one silver at the prestigious 11th International Games organised by SBKF in Dubai.
Competing in the above-40 age category, Shruti secured gold medals in the 100m and 200m backstroke events and added a silver medal in the 50m backstroke race. The competition, held from April 24 to 25, attracted participants from around the world.
A product of rigorous training at CP Club Nagpur, Nagpur Improvement Trust, and the National Institute of Swimming on Besa Road, Shruti credits her success to her international-level coaches, Dr. Jaiprakash Duble and Mangesh Gokhale. Her outstanding performance has once again put Nagpur’s swimming talent on the global map.
