The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) results on Wednesday at 11 AM, bringing cheer to students and schools across Nagpur and Vidarbha. Despite the limited number of ICSE schools in the city, all institutions reported a 100% pass rate.
In Class 10, Mahvish Amjad Khan of Marie Poussepin’s Academy, Kamptee Road, emerged as the city topper with 97.2%, also securing the second rank in Vidarbha. The top spot in Vidarbha was claimed by Urvi Kapil Khokale from Amravati, with an impressive 98.17%.
Marie Poussepin’s Academy also produced other high scorers, including Kaniska Uke with 96.6%. At Chandadevi Saraf School, 24 students scored above 90%. Among them, Samika Shelgaonkar achieved 97%, while Vaidik Jha and Guruprasad Damodare each scored 96.6%. Arushi Shinde and Prisha Sakkarpure followed closely with 95.2% and 95%, respectively.
MSB Education Institute also reported excellent results, with Sheherbano Hussain scoring 97%, followed by Asgar Maimoon (96.2%) and Tahir Hussain Lahiri (95.8%).
In Class 12 results, girls continued to dominate, with Khadija Hussain from MSB Institute likely being the Science stream city topper with 93%. In the Arts stream, Fatima Dhankot, also from MSB, matched that score with 93%. In Commerce, Idris Zariwala secured 87%, while Mohammad Nagpurwala scored 85%.
From CDS School, Devanshi Bhisikar scored 89% in Science, while Pranjal Jain achieved 83.5%.
Due to soaring summer temperatures, most students opted to stay home, but teachers remained on duty to manage result queries and offer support. Overall, the results reflected high academic standards, especially among girl students, reaffirming their academic lead in both ICSE and ISC boards this year.
