Nagpur recorded a temperature of 41.6°C on Saturday, May 3, with little breeze in the city, while some places like Kamptee experienced heavy rain. Akola emerged as the hottest district in the region, reaching 44.3°C, closely followed by Chandrapur and Yavatmal, both at 43.4°C.
Other parts of Vidarbha also endured high temperatures. Washim recorded 43.0°C, Brahmpuri hit 42.6°C, and Wardha stood at 42.0°C. Gadchiroli experienced 41.4°C, and Buldana reached 40.0°C. The relatively cooler districts included Gondia at 39.1°C and Bhandara at 37.0°C. Data from Amravati was unavailable.
