No regular principal, teachers
Admissions to 49 colleges functioning without a regular principal and teachers have been banned by Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University. The decision was taken by the university’s Management Council. The decision will be effective for the 2025-2026 academic session. The list of these colleges can be found on the official website of the university.
The decision has been taken to prevent any loss to the students. The students are advised not to seek admission for the first year of any course in these colleges. The university, however, will not allow the existing students to suffer.
The issue was raised by Dr R D Sikchi during a Senate meeting of the University. The final decision to ban admissions was taken by the Management Council. More information can be had from the Assistant Registrar, College section of the university, Dr Sakshi Thakur.
