IIM Nagpur has recorded its highest-ever female representation in the regular MBA batch of 2023–25, with women making up 46% of the cohort — 120 out of 267 students. This marks a steady rise from last year’s 43%.
Director Bhimaraya Metri credited the achievement to the institute’s continued efforts toward inclusivity and equal opportunities in management education.
The institute also had a strong placement season. The highest salary package offered reached an impressive ₹69.57 lakh per annum, with the average package at Rs 18.07 LPA. For summer internships, the top stipend offered was Rs 2.7 lakh, while the average stood just under ₹90,000.
89 New Recruiters, Global Offers Mark Milestone Placements at IIM Nagpur
IIM Nagpur’s final placement season saw participation from top firms like Microsoft, Amazon, BNP Paribas, Adani, Deloitte, and Accenture. A total of 89 new recruiters joined the drive, while 98 companies participated in the summer internship process.
The institute also secured four international job offers, and three students received record-breaking salary packages. These achievements coincided with IIM Nagpur’s 10th anniversary celebrations and a fully placed MBA batch, highlighted at the 9th convocation ceremony.
Executive MBA Expansion and Industry Ties
Alongside 267 regular MBA graduates, 62 students completed the Executive MBA programme — 35 from the Pune campus and 27 from Nagpur. During the convocation, guest of honour Puneet Chhatwal announced a proposed collaboration between IIM Nagpur and Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), signalling further industry engagement.
