In a heartwarming tale of resilience and determination, Maheshwari Tembhare, a student of New Era English School and Junior College in Bholebaba Nagar, Janakinagar, has scored an impressive 83% in her Class 10 exams, overcoming the odds of a life without parental support.
Maheshwari lost her mother to illness when she was just one and a half years old. Tragedy struck again in 2017 when her father, Madan Tembhare, also passed away due to illness, leaving her orphaned at a young age. However, her journey did not end in despair. Her maternal aunt Vaishali Manoj Gaikwad and uncle Manoj Rajmal Gaikwad stepped in to care for her like their own daughter, despite facing financial limitations.
Maheshwari had always dreamed of studying in an English medium school, but her guardians could not afford the high fees of a convent education. It was then that Ramesh Talekar, secretary of New Era English School, took responsibility for her education. Not only did he waive her school fees, but he also provided her with books and other study materials, enabling her to pursue her academic goals.
Speaking to the live nagpur , Maheshwari expressed her desire to pursue a B.Sc. in Nursing after completing her higher secondary education, with the aim of serving patients and giving back to society.
Her story stands as a powerful testament to determination, community support, and the strength of the human spirit.
