The South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Nagpur, under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, regularly organizes new programs. The Centre also continuously conducts training workshops. The purpose of these workshops is to keep the art forms of the member states alive and to train the new generation in these arts.

With this objective, the South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Nagpur, is organizing a “Summer Workshop” from 26th to 31st May 2025 at the premises of the South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Nagpur. This workshop will be held in two sessions: the first session from 9 AM to 12 noon, and the second session from 3 PM to 6 PM.

During this six-day workshop, training will be provided in the traditional painting styles and traditional masks of four states by the Centre. The following painting styles are included:
- The famous art form of Maharashtra: Tribal Warli painting
- The famous tribal art of Chhattisgarh: Gond painting
- The folk art of Madhya Pradesh: Mandana painting
- The ancient art of Telangana: Cheriyal style masks
Training in these art forms will be provided by experts.

The workshop fee is ₹600 per participant per session for six days. Participants are required to bring their own necessary materials.
