There is growing excitement as Indian Railways prepares to start new Vande Bharat Sleeper trains. The first trains will run on the Secunderabad to New Delhi route.
Interestingly, the South Central Railway (SCR) has not yet confirmed this news.
Meanwhile, social media is buzzing with rumors that the new high-speed sleeper train will change the travel experience between Hyderabad and Delhi.
The Vande Bharat Express trains have quickly become very popular, and commuters are eagerly waiting for these long-distance sleeper services that promise a faster and more comfortable overnight journey.
If they decide to introduce this then the Vande Bharat sleeper train is expected to reduce the journey time considerably compared to the already popular existing services.
For instance, Rajdhani Express and Duronto Express currently take between 22 to 24 hours to cover the 1,700-km distance between the national capital and Secunderabad.
Reducing the Journey Time
The new high-speed sleeper version of the Vande Bharat Express is expected to reduce the travel time by 3 to 4 hours.
This new service will be especially helpful for the many passengers from Hyderabad who often travel to Delhi for work, studies, or personal reasons. Currently, the journey takes a full day.
Railway fans have been eagerly waiting for the Vande Bharat sleeper trains on this route for a long time, as they will offer a better option for overnight long-distance travel.
Unlike the existing Vande Bharat trains that run during the day with reclining seats, the sleeper version will have comfortable berths, modern interiors, better suspension for a smooth ride, and enhanced safety features.
Additionally, the train will include amenities like Wi-Fi, USB charging ports, and automatic doors to improve passenger comfort.
