Traffic on Koradi Road has slowed to a crawl over a 4-kilometer stretch due to the ongoing construction of a Y-shaped flyover. With only service roads operational, daily commutes have become increasingly difficult.
Adding to the congestion is rampant illegal parking near liquor shops and widespread encroachment at Faras Chowk. Footpaths are fully occupied, and vehicles are parked along both sides of the service road up to Koradi Naka Chowk—significantly increasing the risk of accidents.
Despite the growing hazard, the local municipal zone has yet to initiate any meaningful action to remove the encroachments or streamline traffic.
Frustrated commuters and residents are urging authorities to expedite the flyover work and enforce traffic regulations to restore normalcy and ensure safety on this critical route.
