Preparations are in full swing for the Jagannath Rath Yatra, organized by ISKCON Nagpur, which will be held on June 28, 2025. A planning meeting was recently conducted at the ISKCON Temple, where senior devotees gathered to finalize the arrangements for the grand procession.
The meeting commenced with a soulful kirtan of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra, setting a devotional atmosphere. During the session, Prannath Prabhu spoke about the significance of chanting without committing offenses, while Hari Kirtan Prabhu, President of ISKCON Vedic Cultural Center (IVCC), highlighted the spiritual importance of the Rath Yatra.
“The Rath Yatra is a sacred occasion where Lord Jagannath steps out to give darshan to His devotees. It is a divine opportunity for all of us to participate and seek blessings,” said Hari Kirtan Prabhu.
Venu Gopal Prabhu, Festival In-Charge and a member of the Temple Management Committee, officially announced the route and timing of the yatra. The chariot procession will begin at 12:00 PM from Poddareshwar Ram Mandir (Mayo Hospital Square). It will proceed through Seva Sadan Square, Agrasen Square, Gandhi Gate, Thodeshwari Ram Mandir, Agyaram Devi Square, and conclude at the ISKCON Temple.
The preparatory meeting witnessed the presence of several senior and service-oriented devotees including Brajenra Tanay Prabhu, Vice-President of ISKCON Nagpur; Vishal Das, Festival Head; Pandharinath Prabhu, Temple Commander; Aradhya Bhagwan Prabhu, Director of Funds; Sadhana Bhakti Mataji, Head of Yatra and Bhakti Vriksha; Venu Gopal Prabhu, Social Media In-Charge; and Paramkaruna Prabhu, among others.
ISKCON Nagpur has invited all devotees and the general public to join the spiritually uplifting Rath Yatra and be part of this divine celebration.
