The Gender Equality Organisation has announced its support for a high-profile nationwide motorcycle rally scheduled to arrive at Deekshabhoomi on June 8. The rally—started by five riders who set off from Faridabad on May 31—aims to demand the establishment of a dedicated Men’s Commission in response to what they describe as rising incidents of violence against men.
The convoy is charting an extensive route, traversing key cities including Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Goa, Kolhapur, Pune, Mumbai, Surat, Ahmedabad, Ujjain, Bhopal, Gwalior, Panipat, Chandigarh, Jammu, Kargil, Ladakh, and Manali, culminating with a grand finish in New Delhi.
Nishant Kamble, Chanchal Patle, and Vikrant Ambhore are expected to join the reception ceremony in Nagpur. After a short stopover there, the main group will link up with approximately 15 regional riders who will ride alongside them on the final stretch to the capital.
