India’s first defence-centric Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme, offered by the National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) in Nagpur, has achieved 100% placements and internships, the institute announced on Tuesday.
NADP, which functions under the Ministry of Defence, runs a specialised PGDM (Business Management) programme aimed at building future-ready professionals for the country’s defence and strategic sectors.
At a press briefing, NADP Chief General Manager J.P. Dash said the achievement reflects the academy’s leadership in grooming techno-managerial talent. “This success is a testament to our growing impact in the sector,” he noted. The PGDM programme is mentored by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore.
Students from the 2023–25 batch have secured full placements, while those in the 2024–26 batch have received 100% internships. Recruiters include top private and public sector organisations such as L&T Defence, Tata Advanced Systems, Jindal Defence, Bharat Forge, and various ordnance factories.
