The long-awaited flyover connecting the University Campus to the RTO is expected to be completed by July 31, according to the National Highway Division of the Public Works Department (PWD). Currently, construction is underway on a new bridge over a nullah and a concrete road stretch from the RTO to Bole Petrol Pump.
Launched in May 2021, the project was initially slated for completion in 2023. However, delays pushed back the schedule, prompting PWD officials to closely oversee the remaining work.
During a site visit on Thursday evening, Executive Engineer Sanjeev Jagtap confirmed that the team is focused on completing the flyover structure, particularly the apron section, by the new deadline. He refrained from commenting on the timeline for the adjoining service road, which remains pending.
