INDIA PEACE CENTRE organised a full day Blood Donation Camp on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day on Saturday 14th June at its premises in Civil Lines, Nagpur. The camp was supported by Nagpur Book Club, Saving Dreamz Foundation and Lifeline Blood Bank.
The camp was a huge success, and over 52 people, young and old, and from all walks of life donated blood at the camp.
It was inspiring to see more than one, fit and healthy donors above the age of 60 donating blood. Many young cyclists from Nagpur came in groups to donate blood. Men and women equally came forward to donate blood and celebrate World Blood Donor Day. Many donors present had donated blood over 50 times in the past, and were an inspiration to first time donors at the camp.

All donors were given a Certificate of Appreciation, a token gift and sumptuous refreshments. The donors praised the arrangements, the air-conditioned and comfortable donation hall, and the caring and reassuring attitude of all the volunteers of Nagpur Book Club.
Rohit Tokhi was the Program Director of the event. Under the guidance of Dr Tejinder Singh Rawal, Rohit has been leading this noble initiative for the past 5 years.

Chairman of IPC, Dr. Asir Ebenezer also donated blood at the camp, inspiring others to follow his lead.
Mr. Angelious Michael (Director), Amarjit Singh, Dinesh Dhawane, Kapil Sawaikar (81 times blood donor), Ashish Deshpande of Saving Dreamz Foundation, Ashok Rathi, Pushpa Rathi, Brahmanand Petkar, Kavita Jogi, Ankita Rathor, Sanika Tokhi, Samyukta Sunil Kumar, Shalvi Meshram, and other members of Nagpur Book Club worked hard for the success of the program.
