Sarjana Nirman has organised a programme ‘Chitramulya” Vastav ani Sambhram’ at Ameya Hall of the Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh, Rani Jhansi Square, Sitabuldi at 6.15 pm on June 28.
Noted artists will discuss the very costly paintings by renowned Indian painters and their opinion on the painting, their price, and whether realistic or delusion.
Prof Prashant Sable, Dean, Government Chitrakala Aamahavidyalaya, Nagpur, will speak about M F Hussain’s painting (Gramyatra), which was sold for Rs 118 crore. Milind Limbekar will express his views about Tyeb Mehta’s painting (TrussedBull), sold for Rs 61.8 crore, and Prof Chandrakant Channe will discuss Amruta Shergil’s painting (Story Teller) sold for Rs 61.8 crore.
Senior journalist and anchor Prakash Edlabadkar will be the facilitator.
