Nagpur: Technical glitches in the software system developed by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) continue to hamper passport-related services, forcing the cancellation of all appointments scheduled for Monday at the Mankapur Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) and ten other passport centers operating from post offices.
Affected applicants were informed about the cancellations via SMS, adding to the growing frustration among those seeking passport services.
The disruption traces back to a failure in the Version-2 server, developed by TCS, which reportedly crashed on Thursday. Although operations temporarily resumed on Friday, the system remains unstable, prompting authorities to proactively cancel upcoming appointments to avoid further inconvenience.
