Technical glitches once again marred the centralised admission process for Standard XI. The centralised admission across the state was started this year by the Education Department. The process began with technical problems on the first day of enrolment for admission. The process had to be rescheduled six times, due to technical snags.
On June 26, the list of students with allotment of junior college was to be published. The students and their parents enthusiastically tried to log on to the official website. Adding to their frustration of the students due to continuous technical problems, the website did not open for the whole day. The system operator announced technical problems and deferred the date to June 30.
Assistant Director of Education Dipendra Lokhande said the admission procedure will continue as per the directions issued by the higher authorities. He, however, was not aware of the details of the technical problems.
