The Rotary Club of Nagpur will install its new governing team for the year 2025–26 on July 3 at Hotel Centre Point at 7:30 PM. District Governor Rtn. Dnyaneshwar Shewale will be the Guest of Honour at the ceremony.
Architect Parag Date will assume charge as President, while Harrshit Jaiin will serve as the Honorary Secretary.
Other key members of the new governing board include:
- President-Elect: Gogi Bhasin
- Vice President: Mahendra Kamath
- Treasurer: CA Rajeev Chand
- Joint Secretary: Abhisheik Goyal
- Sergeant-at-Arms: Meeta Shaw
- Directors: Suruchi Agarwal, Prathamesh Deshpande, Dr. Rahul Chaudhary, Harneet Singh Suri, Amit Parekh, Nivedita Singh
- Immediate Past President: Neerja Shukul
This marks the 81st year of the Rotary Club of Nagpur, which currently has over 240 active members. The club has led numerous impactful initiatives in the past, including surgical camps at Bhamragarh and Melghat, the annual Walkathon, watershed and nutrition projects, career guidance, international youth exchanges, and campaigns focused on mental health, women’s empowerment, microcredit, blood donation, environmental awareness, and civic engagement.
Under the new leadership, the club aims to continue its community service efforts with a special focus on literacy and healthcare for the youth, aligning with the Rotary International theme for the year — “Unite for Good.”
