The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has announced that several areas in Nagpur will face power cuts on Wednesday, July 2, for urgent maintenance and repair work. This scheduled shutdown is part of the company’s authorised maintenance day. In some areas, electricity will remain off for up to four hours. MSEDCL has requested public cooperation during this period.
Affected Areas and Timings:
Mahal Division
8:30 AM to 12:00 PM: Power will be completely shut in Reshimbag and Siraspeth for ring main unit repair and NHAI work.
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Power cut in Ganeshpeth, Gandhi Sagar Talab Complex, and nearby areas.
Congress Nagar Division
8:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Power outage in Tajeshwar Nagar, Chanakyapuram, Manav Mandir, Amrapali Nagar, Saubhagya Nagar 1 & 2.
8:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Bahadura Village, Baba Taj Nagar, Sharda Nagar, Sharda Layout, Milan Nagar, Ambika Nagar, Ramnagar, Mohit Nagar, Sant Gajanan.
7:30 AM to 11:00 AM: Atre Layout, Ganesh Mandir, Tatya Tope Nagar, Gopal Bhoware Layout.
8:30 AM to 11:30 AM: Priyadarshini Nagar, Trimurti Nagar, Bhamati, Gudhe Layout, Ingale Layout, Rautwadi, Jayabadrinath Society, Shivshakti, CGHS Colony, and surrounding areas.
Gandhibagh Division
10:00 AM to 1:00 PM: Power supply will be off in Bangladesh, Naik Talab, Tandapeth, Bengalipanja, Panchpaoli, and Thakkargram.
8:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Disruption in Telipura, Vinoba Bhave Nagar, Gangabagh, and Jain Mandir Road.
MSEDCL has urged residents to plan their activities accordingly and extended apologies for the inconvenience.
