The District Caste Certificate Verification Committee in Nagpur has initiated a special Saturday campaign running from July 5 to August 30, 2025, to assist students in correcting errors in their caste certificate applications.
This drive is particularly targeted at students from Scheduled Castes, Nomadic Tribes, Denotified Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Special Backward Classes who are seeking admission into professional courses for the academic year 2025–2026.
Despite reminders through SMS, letters, and phone calls, many applications remain pending due to missing or incomplete documents. To address this backlog, the committee is offering students and parents an opportunity to visit the office on Saturdays—even on official holidays—to complete the rectification process.
Eligible applicants are requested to visit the District Caste Certificate Verification Committee, Nagpur, located at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Social Justice Bhavan, B-Wing, 2nd Floor, opposite Government ITI, Nagpur, during office hours. Students or their parents must bring all original documents to resolve the pending issues in their applications.
Dr. Mangesh Wankhade, Deputy Commissioner and Member of the Committee, stated that failure to submit the required documents within this window may result in applicants not receiving their caste validity certificate before the admission deadline. In such cases, the committee will not be held responsible for any academic loss or inconvenience caused.
Students and parents are urged to take prompt action and utilize this special Saturday campaign to avoid complications in the admission process.
