In a powerful move toward uplifting women from rural and semi-urban communities, Sunyatee International Foundation (SIF) inaugurated its Apparel Workshop and Skill Development Centre in Amravati, Maharashtra. The centre was officially launched by Mrs. Kirti Arjun, Chairperson of Shri Dadasaheb Gawai Charitable Trust, a renowned educational institution group with more than 45 institutions from KG to PG across Maharashtra. Sunyatee International Foundation (SIF) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to inner peace, sustainable development, women’s empowerment, and the revival of ancient wisdom through education, livelihood, and meditation-based initiatives.

The newly inaugurated centre is a transformative initiative aimed at providing vocational training, dignified employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities to women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. It is envisioned not just as a livelihood program, but as a model of economic and social transformation.

As a part of its inclusive approach, SIF has already provided regular employment—with all benefits and protections as per Section 8 company norms—to differently-abled women in Amravati, affirming its commitment to dignity and equality. This initiative will continue and be expanded under the new workshop, providing a safe and supportive environment for all.
The initiative embodies the humanitarian vision of Datuk Dr. Lim Siow Jin, founder of Sunyatee International Foundation, whose mission — “Peace and Prosperity through Empowerment” — emphasizes a holistic approach combining inner well-being through meditation with external growth through skill-building and self-reliance.

The Amravati unit builds on the successful foundation of SIF’s Apparel Production Facility in Siddipet, Telangana, where hundreds of women have already been trained, employed, and empowered to lead their lives with confidence and financial independence. With this expansion, the Amravati facility is poised to become a regional hub for women-led development in Vidarbha.

A key figure behind the establishment of this new unit is Mr. Vamshi Reddy, Textile Expert and Head of the Apparel Division at SIF Siddipet, whose pioneering role and technical expertise were instrumental in designing and implementing the training infrastructure, workflow systems, and machinery for the Amravati workshop. His contribution has laid a strong foundation for quality training and sustainable operation.
Speaking at the inauguration, Mrs. Kirti Arjun expressed admiration for the initiative and said, “This initiative truly aligns with our educational mission—empowering the girl child and enabling sustainable livelihoods for women. I congratulate Sunyatee International Foundation for bringing such a transformational model to our region.”
The event was further dignified by the presence of Dr. Kamlakar Payas, Dr. P. R. Rao, and , who applauded SIF’s approach to combining spiritual well-being with practical livelihood enhancement.
Sunya Pravartak Dr. Rajesh Savera joined the program virtually and personally greeted 10 selected beneficiaries, wishing them a successful journey ahead. In his message, he emphasized how inner clarity and mental peace lay the foundation for outer empowerment, highlighting the unique SIF philosophy.
The ceremony brought together local dignitaries, SIF trustees, educators, women’s self-help group leaders, and enthusiastic beneficiaries, all pledging support to make this initiative a model of lasting impact.
With this milestone, Sunyatee International Foundation strengthens its footprint across India, continuing to blend compassion, skill, and sustainability to craft a future rooted in self-reliance, dignity, and inner peace.
