In a bid to improve operational efficiency, Central Railway’s Nagpur Division, in coordination with South East Central Railway and Western Railway, is reorganizing train services on the Seoni–Betul and Betul–Chhindwara routes.
Effective from July 14, 2025, the rake link of Train No. 59396 Seoni–Betul Passenger and Train No. 59395 Betul–Chhindwara Passenger—previously connected with the Penchvalley Express—will be separated.
Key Changes:
- Train No. 59396 Seoni–Betul Passenger will be renumbered as 58829. It will leave Seoni at 05:30 hrs and reach Betul at 12:35 hrs, with revised stops at Chua (06:24/06:26 hrs) and Chhindwara (07:10/08:00 hrs).
- Train No. 59395 Betul–Chhindwara Passenger will be renumbered as 58830 Betul–Seoni Passenger. It will now depart from Betul at 16:00 hrs, reach Chhindwara at 20:10/20:20 hrs, and arrive in Seoni at 22:30 hrs.
There will be no change in timings between Chhindwara and Betul in either direction.
This restructuring is expected to improve rake utilization, reduce dependence on Western Railway rakes, and provide smoother and more reliable passenger services. Travelers are advised to check the new train numbers and timings before planning their journey.
