A Natya Sangeet festival will be held on July 15 in memory of the legendary Marathi stage actor and singer, Narayan Shripad Rajhans, popularly known as Bal Gandharva. The programme will begin at 10:30 am at the South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) Hall in Nagpur.
The festival is being jointly organised by the South Central Zone Cultural Centre and Balarangabhoomi Parishad, Nagpur branch, as a tribute to Bal Gandharva’s timeless contributions to Marathi musical theatre.
The event will feature performances of classic Natya Sangeet compositions, offering a soulful morning of music for lovers of Marathi theatre and classical art forms. It promises to be a heartfelt homage to one of the most revered figures in Indian classical music.
