The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has made the nation proud with an exceptional performance at the World Police and Fire Games 2025, held in Birmingham, USA, from June 30 to July 6. The prestigious international event saw participation from over 10,000 athletes representing more than 70 countries, including police and fire service personnel from across the globe.
The success of CISF athletes played a major role in helping India finish third in the overall medal tally at the 2025 World Police and Fire Games, with the country securing a total of 560 medals.
In wrestling, CISF personnel from Haryana stood out by winning all the gold medals in the category. Among the champions were Sunny Kumar, Ajay Dagar, Harish, Mohit, and Abhimanyu.

Lady Assistant Sub-Inspector Reenu delivered an exceptional performance in athletics, clinching gold medals in the 10 km cross-country, 5,000 metres, 10,000 metres, half marathon, and the team half marathon event. She also secured a silver in the 1,500 metres race.
The athletes representing CISF came from different parts of the country, reflecting the strength and unity of the force across India.
As a central armed police force, CISF continues to promote physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship among its personnel. Their achievements at the international event highlight the determination and resilience of the team.
