Nitin Fulluke from Nagpur has successfully cleared the Indian Information Service (IIS) examination. On Tuesday, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the list of selected candidates. Nitin has been selected for the Marathi language category.
The IIS is a Central Civil Service under the Government of India that recruits for Group A and Group B officer posts. These officers serve as a vital communication link between the government and the public.
Nitin is originally from Bondgaon village in Arjuni-Morgaon tehsil of Gondia district. His father, Abhay Fulluke, is a farmer, and his mother, Manda, is a homemaker.
In 2015, he completed his post-graduation in Mass Communication from the Nagpur campus. He then worked as a journalist with leading newspapers in the city.
For the past seven years, he has worked in the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s PR department through a private agency. Currently, he is employed as a Communication Specialist in the Metropolitan Surveillance Unit. Nitin attributes his success to his parents, wife Shivani, and Prof. Dr. Moiz Haque.
