Nagpur Amateur Sports Association (NASA) and Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana (SNG) boys registered convincing wins in the ongoing 25th Prakash Rajurkar Memorial Inter-Club Junior District Basketball Championship, organised by Dharampeth Krida Mandal (DKM) at the Shankar Nagar court on Wednesday.
In a closely contested match, NASA defeated PKM 37-27, with Dheer Agrawal emerging as the star performer by scoring 18 points. He received solid support from Ishan, who added 10 points to the team’s tally. For PKM, Ritvij scored 10 points.
In another boys’ match, SNG outplayed the host DKM ‘B’ team with a dominant performance across all quarters, finishing 11-8, 11-2, 14-3, 11-2, and 5-4. Anirudh Mundhada (10) and Gurnaash Sethi (8) were key contributors to SNG’s commanding victory.
In the girls’ section, NBYS defeated PBG 53-37 in a high-scoring encounter. Mrunmayee Sathe (19) and Nishita Bakre (16) played crucial roles in NBYS’s triumph, while Shravani Selokar top-scored for PBG with 7 points.
