Nagpur: The Maharashtra State Board of Art Education (MSBAE) has announced the Children’s Art Competition 2025, which will be conducted simultaneously across the state on August 12. The award ceremony, recognising both district and state-level winners, will take place on November 14, coinciding with Children’s Day celebrations.
The competition will be held in four categories:
- Group 1: Classes I and II
- Group 2: Classes III and IV
- Group 3: Classes V, VI, and VII
- Group 4: Classes VIII, IX, and X
In a bid to foster spontaneous creativity, the themes for each group will be revealed on the day of the competition itself.
Winners will receive attractive cash prizes at both levels:
- District Level:
- 1st Prize – ₹2,000
- 2nd Prize – ₹1,000
- 3rd Prize – ₹500
- State Level:
- 1st Prize – ₹10,000
- 2nd Prize – ₹5,000
- 3rd Prize – ₹2,500
- 4th Prize – ₹1,000
The entry fee is ₹20 per student, and registrations must be completed by schools or authorised centres through the official websites: https://msbae.ac.in or https://balchitrakala2025.msbae.in.
Vinod Dandge, Director of MSBAE; Dr. Kishor Ingle, Art Director and Chairperson; and Chandrakant Patil, Minister for Higher and Technical Education and Chairperson of the Board’s Governing Council, have jointly appealed to schools across Maharashtra to encourage student participation in this state-wide initiative aimed at promoting creativity and artistic talent among children.
