Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur hosted its much-awaited Investiture Ceremony with great solemnity and pride on the occasion of the 19th Founder’s Day. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the school calendar, as newly elected student leaders were formally vested with their responsibilities. It was a day that celebrated leadership, dedication, and the promise of nurturing young change-makers.
The event was graced by Mr. Anunay Kedia as the Guest of Honour; making the occasion even more special with his presence and support. Mr. Indrajeet Parganiha, Bursar of DPS Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur also encouraged the newly elected Student Council with his presence. The Principal, Ms. Yogeeta Umalkar, extended a warm welcome to the gathering and eloquently set the tone for the event.
The event began with a reflective message on leadership, emphasising the essence of selfless service, humility and influence through action. This was followed by a vibrant cultural dance performance that beautifully portrayed the unity and energy of the student body. Ms. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro Vice Chairperson of DPS Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur sent her warm wishes on the momentous occasion of pinning of the badges and swearing-in ceremony. Her words reverberated throughout the hall inspiring students to carry-on forward and upwards. Savita Jaiswal, Director, DPS Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur also sent her best wishes to the newly anointed Student Council.
A soulful performance by the school choir lifted the audience, with melodies that echoed the school’s shared vision and hopes. The highlight of the event was the prestigious badge presentation ceremony. Senior Captains and Vice Captains of all Houses received their badges from the dignitaries. The moment was filled with pride and promise, as each leader pledged to uphold the school’s values of integrity and
excellence.
The Investiture Ceremony concluded with a high-energy performance by the school band, ‘Cosmic Rhythm’. The event ended on a note of inspiration, reminding everyone that leadership, like a seed, needs nurturing and dedication to grow and flourish. The newly appointed leaders stood tall—ready to serve, lead, and make a meaningful difference in the school community.
