Addressing media person convener of the event Sandeep Joshi said 70 men and 12 women teams are expected to participate. 12 men and four women teams have given direct entry to the main round. Four men and two women teams will be given entry to main round through qualification round.
Similarly in women section winners and runners up will be given Rs 15000 and Rs 11000 respectively. The losing teams in semifinals will get Rs 2501 each.
Guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule will inaugurate the tournament on December 21 in the presence of mayor Nanda Jichkar, Rajiv Hadap, MLC Girish Vyas and secretary of Nagpur District Kabaddi Association Sunil Chintalwar in the evening session.
