The Shiv Sena and district administration have locked horns over alleged thrashing of expansion officer of ZP education department. On Thursday Shiv Sena leaders met the party men who were put behind the bars for attacking the ZP officer Ramesh Harde. Sena leaders termed the arrests of its party workers as politically motivated and demanded probe into ‘khichdi scam’. The row erupted after Shiv Sainiks went to Harde’s office to lodge a complaint regarding meals supplied to students at ZP schools. They claimed that worms were found in the khichdi served to students. However the talk turned into heated argument after some of the leaders found that landline was deliberately disconnected to avoid phone calls. Sena leaders allegedly thrashed Harde which led to strike by ZP employees
