Bhavan’s B P Vidya Mandir, Shrikrishna Nagar: Winners of ‘Centfest-2018’
An event ‘Geography Cynosore’ was organised by Centre Point Group of Schools, which was held at Centre Point School, Katol Road. Students of Bhavan’s B P Vidya Mandir, Shrikrishna Nagar took part in the competition bagged the second prize in ‘Centfest-2018’. Sharvari Dhote, Chirag Kubde,Vedant Gourkar and Aditya Wasu were the students who participate in the competition. Gayatri Wasu and Megha Craig were the inspiration and the guide to the students throughout the competition. The management, Principal, P Nirupama Shankar and the staff members commended the students for their victory.
Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony: Somalwar High School and Junior College, Nikalas Branch.
Somalwar High School and Junior College, Nikalas Branch had organised an Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony recently. The school awarded the students for their excellent performance in academics and as well as in sports. Dr. Bhushan Kumar Upadhyay, Commissioner of Police was the chief guest of the event. Along with Dr. Upadhyay, Adv.M L Somalwar and the management of the Somalwar Academy of Education Society solicited the blessings of God as they started the programme by lighting the lamp.
Annual Report of the school was orated by Principal, V Joshi. The students were further enlightened by Mahesh Somalwar and the members of the Somalwar Academy of Education Society. The event was presided by the prize distribution ceremony. Nilesha Nandurikar hosted the programme, whereas S. Mohod, the teacher in-charge proposed a vote of thanks.
‘Technocountry’ Exhibition: Kid’s Country Playhouse.
An annual exhibition ‘ Technocountry’ was organised by Kid’s Country Playhouse, Trimurti Nagar, recently. Atul Gudadhe –Patil, Director of Yashodha High School, elevated the event by his presence. The chief guest was welcomed with the bouquet of flowers by the students. The theme of the exhibition ‘Technocountry’ was to reveal the growth and development of the kids. The spectacular display and presentation of various projects was commended by the chief guest. The hard work of the team, Principal, Aarti Mehadia and the staff members was praised by the parents and as well as the chief guest.
Hajjani Khatijabai Girl’s High School, Kamptee: Winners of Inter-school Debate Competition.
An interschool debate competition was organised by Jama-e-Arbia Rasheediya recently. The topic of the debate was ‘Business is better than services’. Student of Hajjani Khatijabai Girl’s High School, Kamptee, Alishba Mahreen Rashid Jamal, STD VIII made a clean sweep for the 1st position, in individual category, while Wahedat Fatema Chiragh Ali got a certificate of participation. Shabnam Wajeda, Principal, congratulated the students for their achievements.
Chef’s Day Celebrations: Decent English High School.
A workshop –cum-competition was organised by Decent English High School to mark Chef’s Day, recently. The main motive behind the workshop was to spread awareness among the students regarding Healthy Food, lifestyle and cooking. The students were made aware about the myths in the society and were encouraged to eat healthy and to follow a healthy diet. The students had prepared varied types of snacks and bites for their companions. Along with the students, teachers also took part in the competition. M A Sheikh, Director, signified the benefits of healthy and nutritious food for the students.
